Description
The advanced training course develops skills in the field of risk management in hospital and healthcare facilities. The course is based on the advanced knowledge of the university in the field of risk management and on the experience gained by CINEAS, University Consortium for Engineering Insurance specialized in the topics of risk and claims management in healthcare for over twenty years.
Educational project
The course contributes to the qualification of professionals that operate in the field of risk management, quality and safety of care in public and private hospitals and healthcare facilities, in accordance with the Law 8th March 2017, n. 24, presenting the main risk management tools, such as Incident Reporting, Operating Room Checklists, HFMEA process analysis and the Root Cause Analysis methodology applied to the healthcare sector, with the classification of contributing factors.
Requirements
The course is open to candidates with a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, mainly in the field of architecture, engineering, industrial design, medicine and surgery, and other health disciplines, economics/legal sciences or other candidates with qualifications considered equivalent. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to admit candidates with qualifications in disciplines other than those specified above, if the advance course can constitute a completion of the candidate's training or skills and professional experience demonstrated by them. For foreign candidates, qualifications equivalent in the respective study programs will be considered.
