Description

The course is aimed at those who want to develop their skills in innovation, design, project management and communication of events and festivals, in order to enter, re- launch and specialise in the complex world of cultural economies. The course trains professionals able to integrate the more creative and humanistic skills of curating an event or festival with the more managerial skills of managing complex projects.

Educational project

The course aims to develop: - The knowledge required for an Event Manager of cultural events and festivals, understanding the role, objectives, relationships and tools. - The ability to devise proposals for cultural events and festivals capable of responding to the dynamics of the cultural sector and to intercept the needs of audiences and the different formats of the culture market. - The ability to plan and manage the organisation of an event or festival, from the conception phase to the reporting phase, learning to apply project management tools to the cultural context. - The ability to assess and apply different types of fundraising levers for the sustainability of a cultural project, including coordination with public and private stakeholders. - The ability to develop promotion plans for a cultural event or festival, also with a view to territorial marketing and integrated narratives for communication. The final objective of the course is to train the skills of the Event Managers of the future, able to apply the knowledge and skills learnt to a specific context (an event/festival) to solve a real problem (e.g. intercept new audiences, innovate the business model, design a new format). To stimulate in this direction, the course aims to make the participant interact with real cases in order to learn the complexities of the context of cultural events and festivals. "

Requirements

Bachelor or Master of Science. Equivalent foreign qualifications in their respective University Systems will be considered valid.
