Description

The implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) is a major challenge for public administrations, which shall set up ambitious programmes to accelerate the digital and ecological transition, carry out infrastructural interventions, and adopt innovative solutions for the delivery of public services and the relationship with citizens. This Master's course shall provide professional tools to face these challenges by broadening the skills of employees that are already involved in such projects and expanding the professional opportunities of those interested in working in such field. Therefore, the Master's course offers a complete training programme in the field of public procurement, data management and PA digitalisation, including internship periods in public entities, companies and professional firms active in the sectors above.

Educational project

The Master's course aims to provide fundamental skills for employees and professionals who are involved in the implementation of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), focusing in particular on the design and management of tenders for the award of public contracts through which the PNRR projects are to be implemented, issues related to data management and processing, and the digitalisation of public administration. The course programme is based on a multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral approach, which considers not only the legal approach but also the technical one, offering basic notions on programming and design, cybersecurity, and the operation of new technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence, distributed ledger technologies and the Internet of Things). The topics are presented considering the characteristics of the public sector (organisation and activities of public administration in general) and, in particular, of innovative public services in the local context (smart cities).
