The Master in Sport Design and Management, tends to the formation of a planning figure for architecture, engineering and design of the sports infrastructure. The Master includes: lectures, studio activities, workshops, targeted visits, study trips, internships at excellent institutions and companies of both public and private nature. The Course has a duration of 1500 hours. It is structured in lectures, individual study, tutorials, tours, workshops and 300 hours of internship (optional). The structure of the Master includes the definition of 6 training modules on the main disciplinary areas involving the formation of the designer and of the manager of sports infrastructures, closely related to each other through a multidisciplinary and multi-scale approach. The Course is structured, on the one hand, as a laboratory in continuous and constant evolution and updating and a privileged observatory inside the world of SPORT, on the other hand, as an extraordinary network for sharing knowledge, experiences and ideas. The Master's approach is deliberately multidisciplinary and multi-scalar, thus supporting the variety of topics covered and the related networks. The experience of the first six years of the Course confirmed the validity of the choice also relating to the placement in the different fields of application of the Sports industry.

The Master in Sport Design and Management puts SPORT (in all its forms, declinations and manifestations) at the centre of its project, bringing the two "Politecnico Souls" together, in a unique concept: Design (architecture, engineering and industrial design) and Sport Management, developing a program characterized by a highest cultural and professional level, involving speakers, testimonials, stakeholders, companies, federations, organizations operating in all sectors of the sports industry at a national and international level. The training program offers the opportunity to acquire technical and procedural skills in order to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals, thick and international in scope, able to handle the complexity of decision- making and management processes of sports infrastructures design and optimization, both ex novo either existing, and their integration on the territory. These actions will stimulate in the professional a high cultural level, fostering a continuous update through the figures and firms of the course's network. The Master is open to engineers, architects, planners, professional studios, architecture and engineering companies, construction companies, consultants, managers of sports companies and public bodies, operators of sports and real estate. The Master intends to create a qualified designer able to operate in the areas of architectural and engineering design from planning stages to the Infrastructure Lifecycle Management -, sport clubs, leagues, federations, public administrations, construction companies, service companies for sports, real estate companies and in any case all those groups affected by the transformations of the contemporary city.

Bachelor's degree or Master of Science. Equivalent foreign qualifications in their respective University System will be considered.
