The course program includes the following insights: • The role of circularity in building management (C. Talamo, DABC) • The European regulatory framework on Circular Economy: implications for the construction sector (N. Atta, DABC) • The point of view of sector operators: circular practices and certification systems in real estate management (with lectures by E. Fontana, Cushman&Wakefield; F. Barbero, WIP Architecture) • Circularity and temporariness: reuse and remanufacturing practices (with lectures by G. Paganin, DAStU; L. Tenani, Saint-Gobain; N. Ramirez, Nolostand; F. Di Marco, Nesite)
Educational project
The objective of "Managing Circularity" module is to introduce the topic of circularity within the building process by examining circular practices in the operation and management phase of Real Estates, with particular reference to regulatory and certification aspects. The course constitutes the third module of a coordinated cycle of three modules entitled "Architecture and Circularity" which addresses the topic of Circular Economy applied to the construction sector.
