Southwestern Europe Regional Contest

SWERC (Southwestern Europe Regional Contest) is a programming competition focusing on algorithmic problem solving and coding. Each team of three students has five hours to solve numerous problems. Technical computer skills, precision and the ability to coordinate within the team are necessary to be able to solve questions as quickly as possible.

The Polimi Team

Since 2014, students of Computer Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano have participated in the competition, divided into several teams: in previous editions, three teams entered. The challenge requires both technical skills (programming, algorithm design, optimisation) and non-technical skills (organisation, division of labour and teamwork).
