The Oslo School of Architecture and Design offers a unique research-based education of international standing. It has built a solid national base and is prominently ranked internationally. Located in Vulkan, in the centre of Oslo, an innovative, creative and cultural part of the city. Three institutes (Architecture, Urbanism and Landscape Architecture and Design) organize its education. Each of them has its own research centre. The school follows a studio-based model with faculty-to-student ratio that encurages individual development and collaboration
