The American University of Science & Technology (AUST) began in 1989 under the name "The American Universal College" and it is now a private institution of higher learning. AUST strives to provide top-level education at moderate costs to avail needy students of opportunities to receive American-style education. The institution adopts the ideas and thinking of its founders, who believe that each individual should be given a chance to realize his/her potentials through a university-level training that is not prohibitively expensive or exclusive. AUST offers programs lea in four academic faculties (Schools) including The Faculty of Arts & Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering.
