The National School of Civil Aviation (ENAC) is designated as a grande école and it was founded in 1949 to provide initial and continuing education in the field of civil aviation. The School is a public establishment of a scientific, cultural and professional nature and operates under the oversight of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Affiliated with the University of Toulouse and Aerospace Valley, it is one of the five founders of France AEROTECH. ENAC offers different engineering and technical programs in civil aviation and aeronautics: programs include aerospace engineering, aircraft maintenance, commercial airline piloting, air traffic control, and flight instructor. In response to the major problems and challenges of air transport, ENAC carries out a research and development activity that aims to consolidate the scientific and technical choices that will be at the center of the new generation air navigation systems.
