École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées - ENSTA ParisTech is one of the most important engineering schools in France and is managed under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence. As Grande Ecole, it trains part of the ruling class of France, providing its students with a general education in the field of engineering, with the aim to allow them to design, create and manage complex technical projects, by respecting the economic constraints in an international environment. In this context, the institute provides high-quality scientific and technological training, constantly updated to keep up with the changes of cutting-edge technologies, integrated by the study of languages and humanities and the skills needed in working life such as study of law, communication, economics, accounting and management. Academic training at ENSTA ParisTech combines lectures, group courses and internships in companies. ENSTA ParisTech offers about 170 engineering degrees every year. The general nature of their education allows graduate students to undertake a career in a wide number of sectors: mechanical industries (automotive or naval industry), electronics and IT, energy, process and environment industries, but also in the areas of consulting, finance and defense. ENSTA's graduate engineers are highly required by companies. Most of them find their first job in research and development departments and design offices, moving quickly to project supervision and management positions.
