HIGHER NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE OF PARIS LA VILLETTE

The Higher National School of Architecture of Paris La Villette (ENSAPLV) is a public higher education institution of an administrative nature located in Paris, founded in 1969. The teaching offered at ENSAPLV is distinguished by its particular openness to the human sciences and the plastic arts, including photography and cinema, which help to give students the opportunity to achieve a creative synthesis of knowledge and a better understanding of the problems they will have to face in their professional life, making them aware of the artistic dimension of their future activity. Training in the design approach, seen as the search for resolution in the space of changes of different nature that affect buildings, territorial and landscape structures, plays an essential role in the school program. The ENSAPLV develops a vast research activity, the aim of which is to produce knowledge aimed at the evolution of architecture, urban planning and landscape and their adaptations to the transformations of the planet and society. It is a transdisciplinary research, which integrates human and social sciences, engineering sciences, information and communication sciences and techniques.
