The university of Konstanz, Located on the shores of Lake Constance, at the northern foot of the Alps and just four kilometres away from the Swiss border, was founded in 1972 and it offers over 100 degree programmes across three faculties including the Faculty of Sciences. The University has stood for top-level research, excellence in teaching and study, internationality as well as interdisciplinary collaboration. The campus of the University of Konstanz is spread across approximately 90,000 square meters and lies in the city of Gießberg.
