The Royal Danish Academy - Architecture, Design and Conservation is one of Scandinavia's leading academies in the fields of architecture, design and conservation, educating tomorrow's architects, designers and conservators. The teaching is based on a core "DNA" of science, practice, and art. The Royal Danish Academy builds on strong traditions within the three, historically well-anchored schools - Architecture, Design and Conservation. A substantial part of the teaching takes place at the drawing board and in workshops, and in joint presentations and academic seminars in small units of teachers and students. The education is based on a combination of theory and practice. The school strives towards the preservation of culture and nature, and the design of physical objects and environments to internationally recognised standards.
