The Rheinisch-Westfalische Techniques Hochschule Aachen (RWTH), founded in 1870, is located in Aachen, known as "Europastadt" (City of Europe), is the main city in the western part of Germany. Three nations with three languages converge at its borders, placing it at the center of a dynamic cross-border region.
