SCIENCES PO

Founded in 1872, the Institute of Political Studies of Paris (Sciences Po Paris) is a large public establishment of a scientific, cultural and professional nature in the fields of human and social sciences, in particular Law, Economics, History, Sociology and Political Science. Courses in International Relations, Finance, Accounting, Management, Human Resources Management, Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Town Planning and the Environment are also offered. Originally located in Paris, since 2000 the School has also been present on the campuses of Nancy, Dijon, Poitiers, Menton, Le Havre, and Reims. Each site has its specificity, but they all offer the same programme, which leads to the same bachelor degree. Masters and doctorate level programmes are only available from the Paris campus. Research develops around major areas such as public health, education, urban development, security, the environment and democracy, in all regions of the globe. Several activities concerning student associations are an integral part of the educational model and emphasize empowerment, teamwork, public expression and citizenship.
