Universitad Torcuato di Tella is a private non-profit institution founded in 1991 in Buenos Aires with the aim of instructing new generations of academic, social, political and business leaders, and to enhance research in both arts and sciences. It is a multidisciplinary institution, offering programmes in different fields, such as the School of Architecture and Urban Studies, whose Degree aims at providing students with theoretical, technical and ethical bases that allow them to find innovative architectural responses to the requirements of contemporary reality in the search for new fields of development. UTDT also offers a broad range of extracurricular activities that enrich the experience abroad and provide exchange students with the opportunity to become more integrated in the Di Tella community, such as sports teams, cultural activities, social action groups, interest-specific clubs. Through the buddy system and the language exchange program incoming students are paired with local ones to help them ease into the city and the university life, while practicing their Spanish.
