UNIVERSIDADE DO ESTADO DE MINAS GERAIS

The Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG), founded in 1989,  is a public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Belo Horizonte. Its have many different locations in the Minas Gerais state, the main one is located in Belo Horizonte, (the state capital), making it one of the largest state university in terms of size, offering bachelor's, master's and doctorate courses. As a main goal, it promotes teaching and research in order to contribute to the education of students involved in the development and integration of society. Furthermore, the University is respected in the Brazilian academic scenario for rewarding cultural evaluation, political education, environmental and scientific awareness, among other perspectives. Among the different courses it also offers several programs in engineering as well as design, graphic design, fashion design and environmental planning.
