Founded in 1989, the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) is a small-sized public university located in the city of Madrid and consists of four campuses spread around the city: Getafe, Leganés, Colmenarejo and Madrid-Puerta de Toledo. The UC3M provides high quality teaching at first, second and doctoral level, covering the areas of Law and Social Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, Communication and Library Science. A broad range of master and bachelor degree programmes are offered in English and nearly 20% of the student community is made up of international students. The university is a leader in international student mobility and 90% of UC3M graduates find a job within a year of graduation.
