The University of Cádiz, commonly referred to as UCA, is a medium-sized public university located in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia. The UCA was founded in 1979 and now consists of four campuses: Cádiz, Bahía de Algeciras, Jerez and Puerto Real. It offers more than forty degrees and an increasing number of postgraduate courses in a variety of disciplines, such as Engineering, Science and Technology, Health Sciences and Medicine, Educational Sciences, Economics and Business, Social Sciences and Communication, Law, Philosophy and Literature. The UCA is strongly devoted to research, with qualified research groups and centres distributed over the province.
