
The Innsbruck University is the oldest public university in Austria. It includes many different faculties, from Medicine to Pharmacy, from Theology to Architecture. It is made up of four different campuses, therefore it offers coworking spaces for studying, libraries and study rooms, affiliated canteens where to eat, drawing rooms, workshops equipped to create models in different types of materials such as wood, plastic or iron. The Faculty of Architecture includes several Institutes: the Institute of History of Architecture and Buildings, the Institute of Design, the Institute of Experimental Architecture and the Institute of Urban Planning and Spatial Planning. The university also offers many extra curricular activities: many debate events are organized on various political and cultural themes; then there are more than 1000 sports courses offered each year, the orchestra and choir where students from all faculties can play and sing together.
