Founded in 1989, the University of La Coruña (UdC) is a public university located in the city of A Coruña, in the North-Western coast of Galicia. The UdC offers bachelor and master degrees covering all fields of study, as well as a variety of doctoral programmes, spread over the two main campuses of A Coruña and Ferrol. Academic study is further promoted through an extensive variety of courses offered in English, as well as through the use of state-of-the-art technologies. Strongly devoted to research as a means of maintaining excellent teaching standards, the UdC has a large research staff and a reputed technology park.
