Description
Sport is an articulated and complex system. Over the years it has become a land of conquest and "base camp" even of the big brands that did not start from active sport to go and explore other areas such as lifestyle, fashion and luxury. Athletes who become brand ambassadors, increasingly sophisticated product design, sporting events and competitions that become opportunities for messages of inclusion and tolerance, but also to gain global visibility and track large investments: the management of each of these aspects require specific skills. The Specialization Course in Sport Branding Design explores the aspects in depth just listed. The training topics that will be covered include the fundamentals branding theories and case studies; the brand as a vector of innovation and extension of bidding system; the evolution of the brand concept in the digital economy; the construction brand-centered user experiences; the project of a brand motion strategy in company touchpoints; brand motion in the Sport System. The lectures alternate with discussions of case studies and meetings with figures from the world entrepreneurship and practical exercises. Furthermore, two design workshops are planned to discuss and work side by side with entrepreneurs and managers in the sector. During these laboratory activities, the students (led by the teachers and divided into groups) they carry out real projects, applying the theoretical knowledge acquired throughout the training path.
Educational project
The Post-Graduate Course in Sport Branding Design - Designing experiences, partnerships and sporting events aims to train designers and managers in able to analyze trends and guide the evolution of the project in the Sport System. Specifically, the Course transfers the skills to design extended experiences linked to the world of sport. In particular, participants will gain an understanding in-depth analysis of the relationship between brand and user in the sports world. Such figures will acquire the tools to evaluate the evolution of the Sport System and the lifestyle connected to it designing products and services capable of describing the brand.
Requirements
Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree are admitted, First or Second Level Academic Diploma in design, engineering, architecture, economics and commerce, marketing and communication. For the admission, the profile of candidates not attributable to said categories may be evaluated by the Board. The selection will be made by the Scientific Committee. Qualifications obtained abroad will be considered valid as long as they are equivalent in Italy respective study systems.
