The Politecnico di Milano – Lecco Campus is a satellite campus of the Politecnico di Milano. Established in 1989 and officially inaugurated in its new campus in 2013, The Lecco Campus is designed in the Anglo-Saxon style and extends over an area of approximately 47,000 m², equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for both research and education.
Created with the aim of addressing the educational and technological needs of the region, the Lecco Campus offers undergraduate and graduate programmes in Engineering, as well as in Architecture and Design. Its international outlook attracts a significant number of Erasmus and visiting students.
The Lecco Campus provides:
- Classrooms, scientific and teaching laboratories, and computer facilities to serve approximately 1.800 enrolled students, around 30% international
- Residential services: the “Adolf Loos” residence hall accommodates up to 200 students, researchers, and visiting professors
- Administrative and support services, including the student office, internship services, and a library
The Lecco Campus of the Politecnico di Milano plays an integral role in the university’s strategy to bring academic excellence closer to local communities. It is part of the wider network of satellite campuses (Cremona, Mantova, Piacenza) and delivers education and research activities that are closely connected to the regional economic system.
Today, the Lecco Campus stands as a consolidated academic hub and a key point of convergence between technological innovation, internationalization, and strong engagement with Lombardy’s industrial and entrepreneurial landscape.
