The selection process and project admission

1. Pre-selection

Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of the documentation provided in their UNITECH application and will take into consideration the student's academic achievements, motivations, CV and language skills. 18 candidates will be admitted to the UNITECH Assessment Centre.

2. Assessment Centre

Students who pass the pre-selection phase are admitted to an Assessment Centre, organised by UNITECH in collaboration with the partner companies. The assessment concerns the students’ soft skills and consists in a group discussion, a presentation and an individual interview. All the Assessment Centre activities are conducted in English. At the end of the activities, each student will be assessed individually based on the results achieved.

The Assessment Centre takes place in February and is conducted remotely. It is the crucial stage of selection for the UNITECH project and therefore attendance is mandatory. Only students who pass the Assessment Centre can take part in the UNITECH.

The results of the Assessment Centre will be communicated to students on the day of the assessment centre during the individual feedback session. A maximum of 10 candidates may be admitted to the project.

3. Confirmation

Selected students must also confirm their participation in the project in the online services for INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY FOR STUDY, following the deadline of the call for international mobility.

Allocation of exchange host institution

The actual exchange institution will be allocated by UNITECH International and communicated via e-mail by the end of April 2025. Host institutions reserve the right to ask candidates for additional documents.

The number of places available and the admission criteria of each host university may vary, therefore passing the Assessment Centre is not an automatic guarantee of spending the academic exchange in one of the requested locations.
