Descrizione dell'iniziativa
In the first part, the conceptual elements of special relativity and the need to overcome pre-Einsteinian physics are introduced. After introducing the Lorentz transformations, the main consequences are discussed. Relativistic dynamics is then formulated, discussing its consequences on the motion of planets.
In the second part, some elements of quantum mechanics are introduced: wave function, Schroedinger equation and some examples of application, showing the main differences differences with respect to the results of classical mechanics. Entangled states and some applications are then discussed
