Mission and goals
Electrical Engineering is the area of engineering that is concerned with the study and applications of electrical phenomena. The Bachelor of Science programme in Electrical Engineering provides skills in the following areas: electrical networks analysis, electrical measurements and instrumentation, distribution and applications of electric power, power electronics, reliability and quality control, modeling of electrical machines and drives, power systems, electric safety, science and technology of electric materials.

Employment opportunities for graduates in Electrical Engineering cover several and diversified areas, including electrical machinery and power electronics equipment industry, industrial automation and robotics sector, utilities that generate, transport and distribute electrical energy, companies involved in the design, development and operation of electrical systems for transportation.
Possible further education
Subject to evaluation of their academic curriculum, graduates may continue their studies with a Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) in Electrical Engineering or Nuclear Engineering. With admission always subject to an evaluation, graduates may choose other Master of Science programmes or 1st level Specializing Masters.
