There is a compulsory admission test (called 'ARCHED test') for the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programme in Architectural Design and the single-cycle Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) programme in Building Engineering-Architecture at Politecnico di Milano.

  • In order to enter the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programmes delivered in Italian, it is mandatory to sit the ARCHED test in Italian: 26 July 2024
  • In order to enter the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) programmes delivered in English, it is mandatory to sit the ARCHED test in English: 24 July 2024

The places available on each study programme will be allocated according to the test results and the preferences stated by the applicants (the number of places available is fixed each year).

The procedure and contents of the admission test for Laurea and single-cycle Laurea Magistrale programmes for the specific discipline of architect are governed by Italian Ministerial Decree n. 627 of 24 April 2024.
